“I am so happy with my recent experience purchasing from Wessex. Andy was extremely prompt and helpful via email, and extremely helpful during my visit to the warehouse in Michigan. I would gladly work with Wessex for any of my purchasing needs in the future.
“The TE460 ‘Solo’ is just a beautiful instrument. It begins getting compliments the second it comes out of the case. I don’t think I’ve ever owned an instrument that is this fun to play; the tone is extremely clear and focused and the intonation is completely point & shoot throughout the range of the horn.
“This Horn is not at all stuffy as so many 3+1 compensating Tubas are; it plays extremely open. I bought this horn for solo and quintet work and it is going to fill that role beautifully.
“I took it to a Nebraska Brass concert on the second day of owning it, and my quintet mates were thoroughly impressed with the sound and the low end.
“The EP100 ‘Dolce’ – every tubist or trombonist should own one of these! The Dolce is solidly built, has a good consistent sound, and easy intonation. As low brass players we can never be sure when we’ll be asked to double on or teach Euphonium. At the price, you can’t afford to not have one of these.”
